Book Review – The Pet Shop by K D Grace
I was intrigued by the premise of The Pet Shop, the organisation at the centre of the story which hires out human pets to would-be owners for extortionate fees.

Book Review – Isabel’s Independence by Mariella Starr
Isabel’s Independence by Mariella Starr is a deeply satisfying story with a strong believable relationship at its core.

Etiquette Books
I love etiquette books. Test me on any part of Debrett’s Guide to Etiquette and Manners (1999 edition). Go on, I dare you. I know that baby back to front, inside and out.

Why my hero won’t use a belt
An Englishman in the 19th century wouldn’t have worn a belt. He didn’t even have a place to put a belt on his trousers. The fashion was to have smooth high-waisted trousers which created a tidy silhouette.
