If it seems like I’ve been a bit quiet on here lately, that’s because (a) I have and (b) I have been busy finishing and publishing my latest book.
A Different Kind of Hero is quite sweet as BDSM romance books go. It’s certainly the most consensual spanking novel I have written.
It’s still jam-packed full of spankings though because of course it is. That’s how I roll.
A book about book-lovers. And spanking.
Anna has been divorced for three years and is perfectly happy with her life. She has grown-up children, a nice house and a successful career as a romantic novelist. As far as she is concerned, romance belongs on the pages of her books and has no place in her real life now that she is enjoying her hard-won freedom from an unhappy marriage.
Graham is a bookshop owner, a blogger, an experienced Dom and an avid reader of Anna’s books. When Anna decides she wants her next book to be a little less Barbara Cartland and a little more ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’, Graham is the ideal person to assist her in her research into all things kinky.
Even when that research takes a more practical turn and Anna finds herself enjoyably upended over Graham’s lap for a spanking, she is still adamant that she isn’t looking for a relationship. They are just two friends exploring BDSM together. There’s no reason for romantic feelings to become involved.
At least that’s what she tells herself. Fate, it seems, has other ideas.
This is a light-hearted romantic comedy with plenty of spankings.
A Different Kind of Hero is available for purchase now on Amazon.
As you know, I loved this book!
