Back in May last year, I was contemplating buying a Vibease Smart Massager. I am clearly a woman of swift and decisive action, because a mere eight months later, I have bought the thing.
The decision that my life needs a internet-enabled long-distance vibrator in it, has been somewhat influenced by ongoing Covid restrictions.
Over here in England, we are in our third lockdown. (Although lockdown 2.0 was a bit half-hearted, to be honest. The schools were still open for one thing. It was a month-long little amuse-bouche of a lockdown.)
Lockdown 3.0 feels like a crappy sequel released long after everyone is tired of the franchise. It’s basically got the same entire plot as Lockdown 1.0 with only a few minor tweaks. This time, instead of a battle to get the R number down, we’re battling to get everyone vaccinated in a race against time before we all run out of things to watch on Netflix.
And there’s no chance of me having any physical contact with Gentleman Friend until at least the end of February. It’s necessary (I’m being as good as gold when it comes to Covid compliance and caution) but it is an arse. Physical contact is my favourite kind of Gentleman Friend contact.
So, this seems like the next best thing. I will have a shiny new vibrator and my Dom will have the power to control it (and, of course, me).

I’ll let you know how it goes. Of course, the first session will probably largely consist of us trying to successfully synch the thing. “Is it working yet?” “No! Have you tried turning it off and on again?”
We’re both IT professionals though so maybe we’ll enjoy it. We’re a pair of right kinky bastards after all.
